Things to Know *

* Field trip is for Friday, May 10, 2024. *This experience is appropriate for ages 5 through adult. * Upon arrival you will be greeted by a balloon artist who helped on the build. The artist will give a brief introduction and go over expectations as well. Then students will explore the build in groups. We encourage taking photos as it is a Selfie Museum. For ages 7 and up we will have a DIY twisting/balloon station outside the exhibit available for students to who are waiting to go in or are finished exploring the exhibit. * We suggest groups of 4-8 students explore at a time; groups will be released in 5 minute intervals to explore the exhibit * This year's exhibit you will have to go through each "room" to get to the next. It will take between 5-10 minutes a room; there are 6 "rooms". Depending on the students it will take between 30 minutes to an hour to complete the exhibit. * Depending on your group size we recommend 1 to 1.5 hours for your field trip. * Students ages 7 and up waiting to enter exhibit or finished early with exhibit will be able to explore our balloon twisting table where they can try their hand at balloon twisting under chaperone supervision. * At the end of the fieldtrip students will receive a balloon sword or scepter to take home. * Balloons should not be put in an individual's mouth as they can cause a choking hazard resulting in death. Students under the age of 7 need to be supervised at all times with balloons.

Photography *

* We encourage guests to take selfies on their phone. Professional cameras are permitted as well. * Balloon Selfie Museum, Twists to Remember, and Art Association of Randolph County will be taking photos and reserves the right to utilize any of these photos for promotional purposes. * By entering the Balloon Selfie Museum all guests are giving permission for their photograph to be used publicly. *It is the responsibility of the school/school contact to communicate the above policies to students and parents prior to the fieldtrip.

Liability Statement: Individuals, businesses, and organizations involved in the Balloon Selfie Museum including but not limited to Mindy Ellis, Pam Frazier, individual balloon artists and volunteers, Twists to Remember, Modoc Gardens, Lynn Lion's Club, and AARC- Art Association of Randolph County are not to be held responsible for any damages, injuries, or losses that occur to an attendees individual's self or property. *

Fees *

This is a free experience provided by Balloon Selfie Museum and Art Association of Randolph County. If you have funds for a field trip you may give a free-will donation at the door of event, or you can mail a check or give on-line to AARC. All donations go to AARC's Art Mobile Project that will be providing art experiences for students and organizations of Randolph County.
